      1. MEET YOUR MENTOR
      Connecting with your Success Coach or Advisor is your first step into a built-in ecosystem of support.
      One of your first mentors—and you’re going to have so many when you join the HPU family—will be your HPU Success Coach or Academic Advisor. They will give you tons of support as you transition into your new life as a successful High Point University student. When you attend Orientation, you’ll enjoy a session with your Success Coach or Advisor and connect with one of your first big mentors.
      2. EXPLORE YOUR NEW HOME
      You get to live in the nation's best dorms.
      Wondering how you'll set up your dorm? Stop wondering and start planning! At Orientation, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at HPU's housing options.
      3. WALK IN YOUR FUTURE FOOTSTEPS
      And discover some Instagrammable moments.
      Not only will you receive your first semester class schedule during Orientation, you’ll even have help navigating the path from building to building. This is your new home, and we want you to feel comfortable getting around.
      4. ACHIEVE YOUR #SQUADGOALS
      Meet and get to know the members of your HPU family.
      Get to know your future friends and professors. Worried about moving in and making new friends? Don’t be! Orientation allows you to interact with so many people, including students who represent more than 200 clubs and organizations on campus! You’ll jump-start your involvement by meeting members of Club Sports, the Student Government Association, Greek Life and more!
      5. MAKE YOUR PARENTS HAPPY
      We created several sessions just for your parents — they’re joining the HPU family too.
      No one is more excited for you to come to HPU than your parents! They know what this journey means for you, and HPU knows what this journey means for them as well. Orientation is designed to prepare both of you for the transition. While you’re immersed in student events, your parents will take part in sessions created specifically for them. From financial planning to “Parent 101: Preparing for Your Student’s Success,” the whole family will walk away from Orientation ready and excited to be HPU Panthers!
      6. YOUR ALL- ACCESS PASSPORT
      Get your I.D. and a list of all the benefits that come with it.
      You’ll receive your HPU Passport Card, A.K.A. your student I.D. Your passport not only gives you access to your dorm, academic buildings, your dining plan and the post office, it also gets you amazing discounts at shops and restaurants around the city!
      7. DINE LIKE ROYALTY
      You get to eat at the #1 ranked university for food.
      This is your chance to discover HPU's dining options. Did you know HPU’s dining experience is ranked best in the nation on student surveys? HPU also has a registered dietitian on staff. With 20+ dining options, there’s something for everyone!
