Yes – I don’t want to have to wait until I’m an upperclassman to snag an excellent housing assignment, find stellar academic research opportunities or meet Apple Co-Founder and HPU Innovator in Residence Steve Wozniak.

No – I don't want unique opportunities, and I'd prefer to be treated like an inferior first-year student.

Freshmen are surrounded by experiences and mentors that begin shaping their future as soon as they arrive on campus. For example, HPU freshmen have some of the best housing options in the nation to choose from - top tier housing is not reserved for only upperclassmen. But that's not all! At most other schools, only upperclassmen students are allowed to participate in undergraduate research opportunities. HPU’s Research Rookies Program allows students to participate in important research opportunities beginning freshman year! You’ll be expected to work hard, but when we admit you, we commit to your success.

We do provide you with incredible mentorship and support. If you ever decide you want to accomplish more and do more than most students at other schools, HPU's unique opportunities will be waiting as soon as you arrive on campus. That includes access to top tier dorms as a freshman instead of waiting until your final years of college and the chance to conduct undergraduate research at a level typically reserved for upperclassmen at other colleges.
